SWITZERLAND, CHESA MUREZZAN ST. MORITZ 

The “Chesa Murezzan” complex is located in St. Moritz, popular ski resort in the Upper Engadine, one of the most breathtakingly scenic valleys in Switzerland.

The renovation project was entrusted to Foster + Partners and entailed not only the restructuring of two existing buildings – the Hotel Albana (1907) and the Posthotel (1908) – but also the construction of a residential complex with sixty apartments, plus galleries, boutiques and restaurants that overlook via Serlas, the city’s most exclusive shopping street.

The interior design project of one of the private apartments was curated by architect Francesca Vanini. To furnish the spacious, light-filled living room, she chose a corner arrangement of the Groundpiece seating system designed by Antonio Citterio.

Near one of the windows offering a magnificent lake view is the Tosca armchair, while the First Steps bar stools designed by Christophe Pillet provide comfort at the kitchen counter.
