Vacation home on the Costa Blanca

The quintessence of comfort and elegance, this vacation home is located in Javea, a charming beach resort on the Costa Blanca.

Renovation of the home was curated by acclaimed architectural studio Gallardo Llopis and Mobisa with a radical intervention on terrain that was previously home to a hotel. 

The project was tailored to meet the needs of the owners, a couple with three children, who wanted a relaxing place where they could vacation and entertain family and friends. 

Interior designer Paloma del Portillo chose colors and textures in earth tones and light shades of wood that infuse the space with warmth and a casual elegance that is also reflected in the furniture selection. Anchoring the spacious, light-filled living room is a generous arrangement of the Groundpiece seating system, paired with a Fly coffee table with Piuma cabinet and Bangkok ottomans. 

An oasis of relaxation, the couple’s bedroom suite includes a Campiello sofa, while the patio below is home to an Atlante sofa with Lee Outdoor armchairs and Tonga ottomans.
