The eighth jewel in the luxury hotel chain’s crown, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Tokyo celebrates the wedding of traditional design and contemporary Italian architecture in the Japanese capital.

The hotel is centrally located in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District, just steps from some of the city’s top attractions, like the Imperial Palace and the vibrant Nihonbashi and Ginza shopping areas.

As with all the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, the interior design of the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo was entrusted to the Italian studio of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. They masterfully convey the Bulgari core values – contemporary design, superb craftsmanship and artistic details – to create efficient living spaces that embody sophisticated Italian style.

Selected to make a welcoming first impression on the ground floor of the hotel, the Groundpiece sofa anchors a space that exudes hospitality.

The Bulgari Bar is the ideal spot to enjoy an authentic Italian-style cocktail. It expresses the same style and upscale atmosphere as the rest of the hotel. The impressive bar dominates the room and, rising behind it, an intricate mosaic depicts an enchanted garden. Feel Good bar stools surround the bar, while nearby tables and chairs are arranged to create a series of smaller, more intimate islands.

Cestone sofas, matched with Crono and Feel Good armchairs, were chosen to furnish these cozy gathering places. Vienna and Dida side tables round out the decor.

In a city where orderly perfection prevails, the aim was to reveal a touch of Japanese feminine sensitivity, starting with the color palette in the guest rooms – gold reflections from the rich fabrics brighten the rooms, along with the use of warm hues typical of the Bulgari visual landscape.

The elegantly appointed suites were furnished with Guscio sofas and A.B.C.D. armchairs upholstered in luxurious tobacco color leather.

The hotel also provides 98 rooms where comfortable Guscio armchairs, designed by architect Antonio Citterio, offer the ideal seat from which to enjoy the capital city’s panorama.
