Italy, La Marmotta
A dream hideaway in Sauze d’Oulx, with a magnificent sweeping mountain view from Mont Chaberton to Rocciamelone. Just steps from the summit and far from town, total immersion is the draw in this striking natural landscape.
Curated by AB2ER Architecture, this prestigious project looked to the natural surroundings in the choice of materials, primarily stone and wood, reinterpreting them with a contemporary eye.
Positioned like a mountain lookout, the refuge takes its inspiration from the site and its culture, opening a new window on the boundaries of hospitality.
Upholstered in warm dark brown leather, the Happy sofa, paired with its namesake chaise longue, were chosen to furnish the relaxation area in front of the spectacular windows.
Numerous Feel Good armchairs and ottomans and a Guscioalto Light armchair complete the decor. These seating elements are upholstered in a shimmering velvet fabric in warm earth tones.
Placed to enjoy the modern fireplace are two Guscioalto Soft armchairs also upholstered in velvet.
The perfect spot to unwind in a welcoming atmosphere.
