Wallpaper* Design Awards
The Eri armchair by Fumie Shibata receives the coveted award in the “Best comfort zone” category
Announced in the February issue of Wallpaper* are the awards for new products in the design, fashion, architecture and industrial production fields, conferred by an international jury composed of prominent experts.
In the explanatory statement that accompanies the award, Hugo Macdonald, Global Design Director of the prestigious publication, describes how the armchair achieves perfect balance between its sculptural appearance and the pleasant sensation of a soft embrace provided by its enveloping shape.
