New York, “From Italy with love”
From September 5th to 29th, iconic Made in Italy design products on display at Bloomingdale’s.
Developed in collaboration with Bloomingdale’s, with scenography by Ferruccio Laviani, the “From Italy with Love” installation brings a selection of iconic products by 23 leading Made in Italy design companies to the prestigious New York department store.
From September 5th to 29th, in a striking installation inspired by Giorgio De Chirico’s metaphysical town squares and positioned in the “Home/Furnishing” department on the sixth floor of the store, the show featuring Italian design furniture will celebrate art, culture, architecture and design in a project aimed at familiarizing the American public with Italian furnishings.
Selected to portray the fusion of innovation and tradition that has long distinguished Flexform is the Guscio sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio in 2012 that, with its enveloping lines and impeccable tailoring, lends itself to furnishing residential and hospitality spaces with style and elegance.
The “From Italy with Love” project is part of a larger program of “Conversations about Italian Design” talks and events that will involve well-known personalities from the international lifestyle arena.
